Field research as regards the traditional districts in Kyoto

Between 2009 and 2010, Inspector of the area research composed of kyomachiya(the traditional Japanese dwelling).
Organizers: Kyoto city planning centre,Kyoto prefactural government and Ritsumeikan University: Fieldwork and the data gathering of the machiyas in Kyoto for GIS/GPS mapping.

Workshop and seminar about the urban development at the practical level in 2016, organized jointly by Kyoto Center for Community Collaboration and National Graduate School for Policy Studies(GRIPS).

In 2016, Participant of the workshop organized jointly by National Graduate School for Policy Studies(GRIPS) and Kyoto Center for Community Collaboration.

In that workshop, we made propositions of Planning,Design and Budget Plan+Finance Plan etc on the real project in the conception receiving the advice from the academics from Kyoto University, Graduate School of Architecture and consultants on urban development(machizukuri),

Kyoto University and FRaU co-creation project Everyone's Plastics, Revolution 2020

As plastics became a social problem, above all, based on the plan called plastic in the bag, we detected the plastics used everyday in our bags and uploaded their contents with counts to SNS.

 

Furthermore, as regards the matter of the biomass plastics, knowing and finding the right material in the right place, we had a live and active discussions with worker facilitators and student ones, academics, supervisors and other participants.

Furthermore, we cooperated for the provision of support materials and those for the final presentation.

Kyoto University and FRaU co-creation project Everyone's Plastics, Revolution 2021

We focused on the material of recently purchased garments and placed them on a four-quadrant chart to discuss synthetic resin upcycling with NPOs, private environmental companies and participants.

 

In addition, we looked at (SDG for today and tomorrow, Part III) which had been aired continuously for about a month and made feedback comments on it.

 

Consumer / Business / Administrative Seminar & Co-creation Conference related to plastic 2022

In 2022 I participated in the seminars and co-creation conferences on consumer, business, and administrative movements related to plastics sponsored by Ecole de Kyoto University. The above is a forum for discussions aimed at co-designing measures for the future vision and transition of social systems.

 

We are divided into discussion groups regarding the reduction of the plastic use and the possibility of recycling/reuse through LCC, such as design, manufacturing and operation, especially regarding material/chemical recycling, collection and sorting of stationery and disposable diapers, recycled material manufacturing and commercialization, and stake folders. Discussions were held with researchers from Kyoto University, business people, media people in charge to science and technology and environmental activists, and the contents were presented.
